I am a knitter and am looking for a knitting pattern for kippah's so I can make them for the wedding. Does anyone have any suggestions of patterns to use?
Thanks!

This site has lots of patterns (but it's all in Hebrew). The leftmost one, with the characters "כובעים" underneath, is for hats. The other patterns are for kippot. "שורות" means "rows", so there's 10-14, and then 15-20. The rest are organized by design. "ילדים" is "kids"; "כיפות שטיח" are the ones with designs on most of the kippa. That's pretty much it…enjoy!

On second thought, those are crochet patterns…not knitting. I assumed you meant crochet, though…

If you're on Ravelry.com you can search "kippah" and find quite a few patterns. The first one that comes up is:
http://www.box.net/shared/stat…..29l1fg.pdf
And another more feminine can be found at: http://sockpixie.blogspot.com/…..-free.html
I think smaller yarn is better for kippot. I improvised once and just made the crown of a hat, blocked like crazy, and voila!
Also, there is this book on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Complete…..1880582171 but I think the patterns are mainly crochet.
Good luck and mazal tov!
